CYC Consultant Positions

Chicago Youth Centers is currently in need of many different types of consultants to help share awesome hobbies and job fields with our kids! We’re looking for professionals, college students, and all-around talented people to pass on knowledge and passions to our different centers. These positions can be an option to guest-speak, or you can be a club leader. Our sessions last for up to a 10-week period during the school year, and 8 weeks in the summer.

Certain consultant positions are paid, while others are considered volunteer hours. This will be discussed after inquiry. Please find the list of clubs below that we’re looking to start/continue. Thank you for your interest!

  • Content Creation (YouTube, Tik Tok, etc.) / Podcasting

  • Droning

  • Coding

  • Music Production

  • Drum / Piano / Instruments

  • Majorettes

  • Baton / Flag twirling

  • Choir

  • Sewing / Fashion

  • Barber / Cosmetology

  • Entrepreneurship

  • Stepping

  • Sorority / Fraternity involvement Q&A

  • Chess

Speakers and event hosts:

  • Talks on bullying

  • Talks on self-esteem

  • Talks on picking a major/career field
