About Our Senior Wellness Program
Since 1956, CYC has been a trusted anchor in communities, creating spaces where children, families, and neighborhoods thrive. Our new Senior Wellness extends this legacy by engaging community members aged 55 and older in meaningful programming that fosters connection, growth, and well-being.
Our program is designed to:
Build a sense of community and reduce social isolation through inclusive, intergenerational events and peer engagement.
Promote lifelong learning and skill-building through workshops in the arts, digital literacy, and practical life skills.
Support mental and physical wellness with activities that encourage movement, creativity, and cognitive stimulation.
Ensure psychological safety by creating welcoming, affirming spaces where older adults feel seen, valued, and supported.
Connect participants to essential resources including social services, health providers, and community-based support.
Rooted in CYC’s guiding principles, Senior Wellness is more than a set of activities—it’s a commitment to honoring the wisdom of our elders, strengthening community bonds, and ensuring that possibility continues to flourish at every stage of life.
