Mentoring Children of Prisoners
Making Mentoring Meaningful (MMM), also known as Mentoring Children of Prisoners, is a mentoring program that provides youth ages 4-17 years old, who have an incarcerated parent, the opportunity to be matched one-on-one with a volunteer mentor for academic and recreational support.
Commitment: Two (2) outings/month for at least one year. You plan activities around your schedule.
Activity ideas include: going to the park, zoo, making friendship bracelets together, playing sports, learning a new magic trick, sledding, ice skating, going to a museum, doing your homework together, practicing to become the next American Idol together, or anything that you both are interested in doing.
